The AA-rated Caliber v2 Leather Jacket is optimized to deliver premium comfort and performance in a stylish, understated sports design. It features slim-profile Nucleon PLASMA elbow protectors for superior impact protection, breathability, adaptability and comfort. Low-profile DFS ST shoulder armor provides maximum impact protection, mechanical strength and enhanced flexibility, making the Caliber v2 ideal for sports riding.

Key Features

• The jacket is constructed from premium, supple 0.8–0.9mm full-grain bovine leather with a natural finish and an exceptionally soft, tactile feel. The supple, lightweight leather provides superior mobility and a more casual feel. Leather accordion panels are strategically positioned at the shoulder blades and waist to enhance mobility and comfort.
• High Resistant Stretch Fabric (HRSF) is strategically positioned around the underarms to provide high levels of abrasion and tear resistance while optimizing the fit. The clean design incorporates partially concealed stitching for enhanced comfort and a discreet, understated appearance. Its sports fit combines riding comfort with a casual feel and a pure sports silhouette.
• A removable technical thermal liner, featuring 80g insulation around the body and 60g insulation in the sleeves, allows the jacket to be adapted to changing conditions. A stretch insert in the liner provides additional freedom of movement. An internal waterproof compartment offers safe and secure storage for valuables.

Construction

• The main chassis is constructed from durable yet soft 0.8–0.9mm premium full-grain bovine leather, providing an optimal combination of comfort and abrasion resistance. Strategically positioned stretch panels on the sleeves and chest improve fit, comfort and freedom of movement.
• The ergonomically designed collar and cuffs feature soft edging for enhanced comfort and a modern appearance. Hook-and-loop cuff adjusters help keep the jacket securely in position. A removable thermal liner enables the jacket to be worn in a variety of climates, while a waist connection zipper allows it to be attached to Alpinestars riding pants.
• Two zippered hand pockets and an internal waterproof wallet pocket provide practical storage. Premium branding and logos complete the jacket’s discreet, high-quality aesthetic.

• Level 2 Nucleon PLASMA elbow protectors provide an optimal combination of impact protection, adaptability, flexibility, ventilation and comfort. Level 2 Nucleon Flex Pro shoulder protectors deliver effective impact protection, while dual-density seamless DFS ST shoulder armor enhances friction control and protection against impacts.
• The jacket is Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA Ready and is designed to accommodate an optional Alpinestars back protector or divided chest protector inserts. It is fully CE-certified as a Category II, Class AA riding garment under the EN 17092-2:2020 standard
