Namura Top-End Gasket Set

Each Namura gasket is made from application-specific materials and designed for everything from top-end rebuilds to full engine overhauls. All gaskets are built to OE specifications, ensuring correct fitment with no trimming or adjustment required. Materials are tested to ASTM standards for resistance to heat, oil, fuel, and coolant, and each set is quality-checked to meet or exceed OE performance.

Features:

• AF Gasket Material: Made from a non-asbestos cellulose fibre composite bonded with NBR rubber, this material is used in clutch covers, oil pumps, coolant systems, and engine cases. It provides strong sealing, durability, and torque retention even at temperatures above 300°F.
• Steel and MLS Head Gaskets: Designed for extreme heat and pressure, Namura MLS (multi-layer steel) head gaskets use multiple layers of stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance. A Fluoroelastomer coating improves sealing between metal surfaces and helps compensate for minor imperfections, ensuring a reliable seal under high stress.
• Seals and O-rings: Materials such as NBR, Fluoroviton, and silicone are selected based on heat resistance, wear resistance, chemical resistance, and fluid compatibility. Some applications also feature a Teflon coating to extend service life.
